How to play
- Drag a piece from the bubbles onto the board.
- Fill a whole row or column to clear it. Clearing on moves close together builds a combo for more points.
- The game ends when none of your pieces fit. In the app you can watch an ad once per game to clear some room and keep going. It's always your choice.
Common questions
Is the game fair? Yes. The pieces you get never depend on ads, and every new set of pieces can fit on the board.
How do I turn the sound off? Tap the speaker button at the top of the screen.
Where is my best score saved? Only on your device. Deleting the app resets it.

Privacy policy
Puffer Popper is a block popping puzzle game made for everyone, including children. We built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what happens to information when you play the game in the iPhone app, the Android app or a web browser.
What the game itself keeps
- Your best score and your settings (sound and buzz on or off) are saved only on your device.
- There are no accounts, no sign-in, no chat and no way to share personal information in the game.
- We don't run our own analytics or tracking, and the game doesn't send your scores or play anywhere.
The websites
This site and the web version of the game show no ads and make no requests to other companies: everything they need, including fonts, comes from our own servers. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the sites.
Ads in the iPhone and Android apps
The apps are free and show ads from Google AdMob. Ads only appear between games or when you choose to watch one to keep playing; they never appear while you are placing pieces. Ads never change which pieces you get.
- We ask Google to treat every ad request as directed at children: ads are not personalised, are limited to content suitable for all ages, and are not based on your activity in other apps.
- The apps do not ask to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's software may still collect limited information such as IP address, device type and model, operating system and how an ad was viewed. Google explains how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), the app asks for your choice through Google's consent form before any ad is requested.
Children
We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game has no accounts and keeps scores on the device, there is nothing personal for us to collect. Ads are requested in child-directed mode as described above. If you are a parent and have a question, contact us below.
Your choices
- Deleting the app, or clearing the website's data in your browser, removes everything the game saved.
- You can change your ad consent choice at any time in your device's or Google's settings where the consent form applies.
